CNG Producing High Bidder on Five Tracts, Including Three
in Deep Water In Western Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale
PITTSBURGH -- CNG Producing Company, acting alone or with
partners, was apparent high bidder on five tracts, including three in deep water,
at the Western Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale 174 held yesterday in New Orleans. CNG
Producing's share of the bids totaled $5.7 million.
CNG Producing has a 50 percent interest in high bids for
three tracts located in water depths between 1,500 and 3,900 feet -- Keathley
Canyon 7, Keathley Canyon 682 and Garden Banks 213.
CNG Producing has a 100 percent interest in high bids for
two tracts in the shallow water on the Continental Shelf -- High Island A-2
and High Island A-3.
As is customary, the high bids will be reviewed by the Minerals
Management Services of the U.S. Department of the Interior before leases are
awarded.
