Matthews Named Senior Vice President-Nuclear Operations
RICHMOND, Va. -- William
R. Matthews, interim vice president-Nuclear Operations for Dominion Energy,
became senior vice president-Nuclear Operations effective July 1, Dominion (NYSE:
D) announced Monday.
Matthews, 54, a 26-year veteran of Dominion's nuclear program,
will be responsible for all aspects of Dominion's nuclear power operations.
Matthews will continue to report to David A. Christian, senior vice president
and chief nuclear officer. Reporting to Matthews are three site vice presidents:
Richard Blount, Surry Power Station; David Heacock, North Anna Power Station;
and Alan Price, Millstone Power Station.
A native of Dover, N.J., Matthews joined Dominion in November
1972 and has served in a variety of management and executive positions, including
site vice president-North Anna and site vice president-Millstone.

energy, with a production capability of more than 3 trillion British thermal
