Grayland Avenue, located in Richmond,

Norfolk Regional Office, located on Cromwell
Road near Norfolk International Airport, supports Electric Delivery process
organizations. The dress code is casual. You can bring your lunch or visit
the
cafeteria for breakfast or lunch. Vending machines also are available.
Pender Regional Office is located off Route
50 in Fairfax near Fair Oaks Mall and supports electric delivery and operations
process
organizations. The office attire is casual. You can bring your lunch, use the
vending machines, or try one of the many local restaurants.
West Broad Office is located off West Broad
Street in the west end of Richmond. The office supports electric delivery and
operations
process organizations. Like most of the company's offices, the dress code is
casual. You can bring your lunch, use the vending machines, or try one of the
many local restaurants.

Innsbrook
Technical Center is located in the west end of Richmond. Innsbrook
contains a variety of businesses, restaurants and small shops. Innsbrook
is approximately 20 minutes west of downtown Richmond. >> Directions
Men generally can wear "dress-casual" clothing,
or as required, dress slacks, ties, dress shoes and sometimes blazers.
Women can expect to wear nice casual clothing, or dresses, skirts,
dress slacks and blouses if appropriate.
Innsbrook Technical Center
There is a nice cafeteria with a variety of hot meals and
a salad bar. You may prefer to bring your own lunch or eat at a local restaurant.
Lakeridge Industrial Park houses the Telecommunications
Department of Dominion Virginia Power, as well as Air and Water Quality groups.
It is
located in Ashland, Virginia, approximately 30 minutes west of Richmond. You
can bring your own lunch or visit a local restaurant. The attire generally
is
casual. Many Lakeridge co-ops reside in Richmond's "west end" due
to its abundance of apartments and activities.
One James River Plaza (OJRP) is Dominion's
corporate office in the heart of downtown Richmond's business district. It
just a few blocks north of our Riverside (Tredegar
St.) corporate office complex. Casual attire generally is acceptable, although
dress clothing may be required
for certain functions. A cafeteria offers a variety of hot foods and a salad
bar. You also can bring your own lunch or try one of the many restaurants a
short walk away. Minutes away are Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom, both brimming

Riverside Campus is
located in downtown Richmond just a few blocks from OJRP. Dominion's Riverside

Chesapeake
Energy Center
If you like hanging out at the beach, this
might be the spot for you. Chesapeake
Energy Center is a coal-fired power station
located in Chesapeake, Virginia, approximately 20 miles from Virginia Beach.
The dress code includes button-up shirts (long sleeves in
some areas for safety
reasons), jeans and leather shoes. The station has a cafeteria with hot food,
plus microwaves and vending machines.
Chesterfield Power Station
You can enjoy the sights and sounds of Richmond
when you work at Chesterfield
Power Station. Just 15 miles south of the city,
this station is the company's largest coal fired station in Virginia.
The station
has a relaxed work environment – you can wear jeans and a plain-collared
shirt, along with leather work shoes. The cafeteria features microwaves and
vending machines, so you may want to bring your own lunch.
Clover Power Station
Deep in the rural farm lands of Halifax County
lies Clover Power Station, the company's newest coal-fired station. It is located
20 miles northeast of South Boston and 90 miles southwest of Richmond, which
puts it about 1 to 2 hours from several colleges and universities. Small-town
life abounds in South Boston – there is a twin-cinema theatre, bowling
alley, YMCA and a selection of fast-food restaurants. Temporary housing is limited.
But bring your camping gear, because nearby are Staunton
River State Park and
Buggs Island Lake which provide camping and fishing opportunities. This also
is a prime area for civil war buffs since the station is located near Appomatox
and is actually on a civil war site (Battle of Staunton River Bridge). The
area
is community-oriented with a strong base of churches and civic organizations.
Mount Storm Power Station
You can experience the rugged country and
challenging weather of the Allegheny Mountains in northeastern West Virginia
when you work at Virginia Power's largest coal fired power station. Mount
Storm is about 2 ½ hours inside West Virginia.
The dress code at the station is casual
– jeans, shorts, sweatshirts and leather boots. There is a 24-hour cafeteria
at the station and a restaurant and deli nearby. It's a bit remote, but there
are plenty of ways to have fun, because nearby are Canaan Valley and Timberline,
renowned for fabulous winter skiing and summer mountain biking and hiking. And
if you like to hunt, this is the place.
Possum Point Power Station
Just 25 miles from the hustle-bustle of the
nation's capital is Possum
Point Power Station, which is fueled by coal and
oil, although a gas turbine conversion is in the works. The station is located
in Prince William County in Dumfries, Virginia, and overlooks the Potomac River.
The dress code is casual – jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts and leather boots
or work shoes. There is a cafeteria that serves hot meals, plus vending machines
and microwaves.
Yorktown Power Station
The riverfront coal-fired Yorktown
Power Station is
ideal for history buffs – it is located near the famous Yorktown battlefield
and just up the road from Williamsburg. Its Newport News location is approximately
one hour from either Richmond or Virginia Beach, so there is always plenty
to
see and do. There are some vending machines, so bring your lunch. The dress
code is jeans, t-shorts and leather work shoes.
Nuclear Stations
North
Anna Power Station
Not too many power stations have prime lakefront
locations, private beaches, boat ramps and comfy picnic areas, but North
Anna Power Station has this and more.
This station, one of the
company's two nuclear power stations, is located approximately one
hour northwest of Richmond on Lake Anna near Mineral, Virginia.
North Anna Power Station
Casual uniforms are provided for employees, but
you can wear jeans and a shirt during your first few days at the station. You
will receive several shirts, slacks or skirts and a locker. The station will
even wash the uniforms for you. The station has a cafeteria with nutritious
hot food and sandwiches, or you can bring your own lunch. Keep in mind that
security is tight at our nuclear stations, and you will be asked a variety
of
questions before you can enter the station. Be sure you have information about
your department and supervisor along with photo identification.
Surry Power Station
This nuclear power station is near Surry,
Virginia and right across the James River from Jamestown and Williamsburg.
Surry,
the company's oldest nuclear station, is approximately 1 ½ hours from either
Virginia
Beach or Richmond, so you're never far from recreation and entertainment.
The
station features a nice cafeteria with a variety of food, plus microwaves and
vending machines, or you can bring your own lunch. The dress code includes
jeans,
button-up or plain-collared shirts and leather shoes. As with North Anna, there
are strict security regulations, so come prepared with information about your
department and supervisor.
